This website is a campaign by the family and friends of Lucas Nascimento de Medeiros. It is organized by Filipe Fortunato, who is responsible for publishing the site and collecting expressions of support.

Petition data

When supporting the petition, you provide your name, city/country and email address. We store your name, city, registration date and the version of the text you supported. The email address is converted on the server into a SHA-256 code to reduce duplicate entries, and the original address is not stored in the petition database. This code remains pseudonymized data; we do not treat it as guaranteed anonymization.

Registration depends on your express consent. The purpose is to document support and enable the possible submission of your name and city to the recipients identified in the petition: Brazilian and Turkish authorities and international human rights mechanisms. Such a submission may involve recipients in other countries. There is no automatic submission to authorities, email identity verification or public list of names.

Questions form

The questions form prepares a message in your browser. The optional name, subject and text are not sent to or stored on this website’s server. When you copy it, you place the text on your device’s clipboard. To send it, open the campaign channel on Kickante and submit it there; that platform then handles the message under its own policies. Leaving or reloading this page discards the form’s text.

Sharing and hosting

Records are stored on the infrastructure used to host this website, through Sites and Cloudflare services. The infrastructure may process data outside Brazil. We do not sell data, use it for advertising or make personal records available through a public API. The counter shows only the total number of expressions of support.

The hosting infrastructure may process IP addresses, request headers and technical logs to deliver and protect the service, under its own terms and policies. The petition code does not record IP addresses in the support table.

Retention and your requests

Records are retained while the campaign is active, unless removal is requested or there is a justified need to preserve a submission already made. To request access, corrections, clarification or withdrawal of support, contact the organizer through the campaign channel below and provide the email address used. As we do not store the original address, providing it allows us to locate the corresponding code. Do not send unnecessary personal documents.

Images, press coverage and external services

Family photographs were shared for this campaign. Partial screenshots of reports and preview images identify the news coverage and link to the responsible outlet. A screenshot records the page’s appearance on the date indicated and may include advertisements, notices or updates added after publication. Rights to the outlets’ texts, trademarks and photographs remain with their respective owners. Requests for correction or review may be sent through the same channel.

When opening Kickante, news reports or official channels, you navigate to external services governed by their own policies. We do not embed these services in iframes, load advertising pixels or use analytics in this version.
